| BIOGRAPHY | New Release | ||
| Formed in mid-2000 originally playing heavy metal but eventually saw a shift in the musical concept, that is being adopted till this present day, after changes in the band line-up. To their credit a self-titled demo and a rehearsal demo were released in early-2002 and late-2003 respectively with the former containing 3 'heavy metal' songs "Will It End?", "Curse Of The Eye" and "Reflections Of Insanity". The rehearsal demo was issued as a form of tribute to one of the band's former vocalist who passed away due to an automobile accident. With the music now lies in the vein of melodic death with a touch of stoner rock the band has self-released their debut album "Within Nowhere" in early September 2005. Featuring two instrumental in an eight-song album, Bhelliom's current modus operandi came as a result of diverse influences among the members who cites bands such as Soilwork, In Flames, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Alabama Thunderpussy and Spiritual Beggars as some of their major inspiration. | ![]() |

| INTERVIEW |
Next Appearance: | ||
| First half of 2006 for Bhelliom had been a busy year, now with a break before the band hit the tour/festival circuit again, Joe (Bassist) drop by to give us a update on the band progress. | coming soon | ||
| Within
Nowhere has received quite a lot of positive feedback from various media and fans since its release, now you've had the opportunity to reflect/ look back on the recording, how do you feel that everything had turned out?
Within Nowhere, being our first full-length, in general, turns out good.
We did the record to the point, at that time, where everyone were satisfied
with their input and the eventual sound that came out. after the album
was released we listened to the songs again and obviously the "...Hey...i
think this could be higher or that should be lower..." and so on
starts to pop out and it is at this juncture where ideas begin to pour
in as to how we can improve things to sort of attain the next upper
level of songwriting. we take "Within Nowhere" as our first
stepping stone, as our benchmark. Definitely we will strive to better
our efforts. |
"Bhelliom’s style is a striking and refreshing counterpoint to the stale, shitty melodic death seeping out of garages across the United States and elsewhere. If you still have hope for the genre, consider giving this band a listen. "-Metal Review | ||
| Also since its(Within Nowhere) release, Bhelliom has
gone through a couple of changes in the band lineup, now with the addition of Gene(drum) and with Fazley taking over the vox. What do you think of this current lineup? I think
this is the strongest line-up we have so far. Gene played in other bands,
and he still does, before he came and join in the fold. i've seen him
perform "furiously" at local gigs and to me he is a true metal
drummer. Fazley is a young guy with a huge passion. he's really into
what Bhelliom is doing. for both these dudes i have to say i admire
their willingness to commit and that's the reason they are in Bhelliom
right now. |
""Within Nowhere” The title track and
it should be the highlights of the album, intro with beautiful rift
before the big hit with well define changes of rhythms and volume through out the song.

| What do you feel sets Bhelliom apart from the rest
of the other band in this genre (Melodic DeathMetal) We like to infuse our songs with a dose of good old hard rock. Not to forget that there are elements of stoner rock also and i think this is what differentiates us from other bands in this genre. we like it this way. we are comfortable with it. i guess it's due to our various musical influences. Looking
back again, do you think Bhelliom is heading towards the direction Yes, indeed. where we are heading to right now is a result of the influences incorporated by the ex & current members of Bhelliom and it has paved the way that we feel is best for the band. |
"Bhelliom have put together a
generally solid and enjoyable release with their debut effort. For fans
of Swedish influenced melodic death thrash, this is one that might be
worth your time to check out."-Metal Forge |

| What is the band plans for the 2nd half of 2006?
The 1st
half of 2006 is memorable. we played 2 festivals at 2 different countries,
something of a 1st time experience for Bhelliom. we enjoyed and truly
appreciate that moment. some festivals are being planned for the 2nd
half of 2006 and at the same time we are conjuring up new songs for
the next album. |
|||
| During the Demonic Fest, you guys performed one of
your new song, and it is certainly a slight hint in change of sound and style as compared to "WithinNowhere", can tell give us a bit more regarding this new approach? Can't reveal much. all i can say is that it's gonna be a bit more up-tempo. Last words? ans: To those who have known us, keep us in mind as we will be giving you more updates as and when they are available and for those who have just got to know us..."Welcome to our world"....Till Then |
